I like that they do not automatically start taking out money for insurance (something that many people, especially young people do not realise is happening with other funds)
The online info could be clearer but they are continually trying to improve this
socially conscious investments into renewable energy and sustainable investments aimed at protecting the environmental future of the country and the world, fantastic customer service and good returns
Transparent with what they invest in, and fantastic returns
Started off really well but balance has dropped significantly over the last year.
Great experience. Believe in the mission of the organisation.
They have lost me more than $3000 in one year alone. I have now switched to hostplus who have already made $200 in one month from switching. They are awful stay away.
I’m shocked..! Last Financial year my “investment earnings” were a NEGATIVE $854 and deductions were $890 on top of that! I’m all for protecting the environment, which is why I joined, but I also want to have money when I retire. I’m finding an alternative today. Sorry Future Super, low performing is one thing – underperforming another!
Literally lost tens of thousands of dollars leaving my money in this poor excuse for a super fund. Returns below CPI, losses in the past year WAY more than index funds. I’d have about $25,000 more in my account if I’d chosen Active Super (also ethical) five years ago. Utter trash, very very disappointed.
Love that they are ethically focused and transparent.
Fees are high relative to other funds. Wish they would reduce them.
Terrible Customer service, they don’t return calls, have a 3 day turnaround for email queries and aren’t open during full office hours. Amateur approach to running a business.
Good.
Absolute trash. If you want them wasting your money and making ridiculously bad returns if any at all this is the company for you!
I chose this one to support sustainable investments but has been underperforming, my partner is using other fund that also is sustainable and I’m shocked to know he no has 10k more than me
I have almost as much in my super fund as I did 5 years ago, plus contributions. 0/5 for performance. I hope you have enough karma credits to justify the stangant performance.
I have been trying to transfer my Super Back to NZ for 4 months .
They are unable to do this because of technical issues even though they are part of the trans pacific agreement.
My communication has been most unhelpful.
I have an existing fund in NZ and don’t want to pay 2 lots of fees.
I was told when I joined that transfer to NZ would not be an issue.
I have been patiently trying to transfer my 25 years worth of super since early March 2024 to my NZ fund and as I now permanently reside here .
Due to technical issues apparently they can’t transfer even though they are part of the trans pacific agreement with NZ .
They have told me to transfer to another AU super then transfer to Nz meaning I have to redo the paperwork twice .
They have made no effort to get this simple request done I’ve transferred the sale of my house to NZ very easily.
For a financial institution this is incredibly unprofessional & the worst customer service I have seen.
Not ethical in any way
