AustralianSuper Balanced Fund Performance

Looking at Australian Super Balanced fund performance for the month of February, AustralianSuper performed above the median in all year returns.  Financial Year to Date (FYTD) % returns were at 1.19%, which is above the Australian median of 0.80% for February.  For 1 and 3 year periods, returns were high above the median at 3.00% above median for 1 year returns (9.80% vs 6.80%), and 3.38% above median for 3 year returns (9.08% vs 5.70%). The fund’s above median performance also extended to years 5, 7 and 10, with 10 year performance 3.04% higher than the median.

AustralianSuper High Growth Fund Performance

AustralianSuper performance for high growth options was moderate, yet still managed to provide above median returns for most years. FYTD performance stayed slightly below the median of 1.20% at 0.73%, with 1 year returns just above median. Looking long-term, Australian Super’s high growth fund performed above the Australian median, with returns of 10.09% in years 5, 8.83% in years 7, and 10.88% in years 10 respectively.

AustralianSuper Conversative Fund Performance

AustralianSuper’s Conversative Balanced fund outperformed Australian median super returns for conservative fund types for all years in February 2022.  FYTD% performance sat at a return of 0.71% , whilst the median was at 0.50%. 1 and 3 year returns were nearly double the Australian median. AustralianSuper 7 year returns were 2.44% above median fund returns.

AustralianSuper Socially Aware Fund Performance

More and more, ethical investment options are becoming increasingly profitable in Australia. Looking at AustralianSuper Socially Aware fund performance, 1 year returns were at 9.45%, which is higher than Stable and Conservative Balanced options. Longer term performance also stacks up, with 7 and 10 year % PA returns at 7.02% and 9.24% respectively.
